MarketStar is looking for enthusiastic sales professionals to join our
outside sales team in Port St. Lucie, Florida. The Outside Sales
Representative will represent a leading telecommunications and media
company. You will be responsible for selling the digital video, high
speed internet & phone services to businesses in an assigned
territory. The primary mode of solicitation is through business area
canvassing and door to door (face to face) contact with existing and
prospective customers. We offer an excellent compensation package with
base salary plus unlimited uncapped commission potential. We offer paid

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Acquire new and upgrade current subscribers by conducting door-to-door
canvas, appointment or referral solicitation in assigned
territory
- Systematically review assigned territory to insure businesses are
contacted on a
prescribed, periodic basis
- Prepare and execute subscriber sales applications
- Upgrade and improve sales presentation and knowledge of products,
services and rates
- Attend sales meetings as required
- Maintain required record keeping and reporting of all sales and
service activities
- Qualify and close customers on the purchase of client products
- Seek sales opportunities to SMB customers in a door to door sales
environment
- Responsible for averaging 40 to 50 door knocks and 15 to 20 pitches
per day
- Identify customer's needs and provide recommendations on solutions and
products
- Handle all aspects of the sale from start to finish
- Maintain knowledge of all products and promotions
- Responsible for entering all client data to include customer meetings,
appointments,
and sales opportunities in CRM tools
REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma required
- Door to Door sales experience required
- Frequent local travel required
- Ability to walk 4 to 6 hours per day
- Bi-lingual candidates (English-Spanish) may be given preferential
treatment
- Punctual, regular, and consistent attendance
- Excellent detail orientation and follow through skills
- Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with others
- Must be able to work independently with little direct supervision
- A reliable form of personal transportation. (Business mileage is
reimbursed)
- Excellent presentation skills
- Must have articulate written communication skills
- Strong organization skills
- Sales or marketing experience a plus
